Very please with the performance of the product. Setup was easy and intuitive. Be advised that you may need to increase the volume on your car radio. I really like the fact that my Zune can charge the battery while I am listening to my favorite audiobooks in the car. Given the traffic in the DC Metro area, listening to audio book is great way to pass the time when sitting traffic.

I was really excited about the idea of powering my zune with this as a display, and sending cleaner audio than my cassette adapter through my car's sound system... all in one package!! I still love the idea, and this does do everything it says it should, so that much is good. I dinged it a star because (a) the sound quality is good in terms of reproduction, but there is a minor static when you crank up the volume, which is probably true of all FM transmitter based car products like this... it's just radio noise... not significant really, but enough that I did notice it between tracks playing. ...and (b) because, and here is the fatal flaw... the plug is VERY, VERY sturdy, too sturdy, which is good because you don't want it falling down... BUT... there IS NO POWER SWITCH!! If you don't want it to be "on", you have to pull it out of the cigarette lighter, which is a pain in the butt (since it's so sturdy, fits in realllly tight)... I don't want to leave it on to drain my car battery, so I HAVE to pull it out... it would have been a nice simply and inexpensive feature to put an on/off switch on the thing. I may make one myself (I'm into tinkering like that anyhow), but still, kind of an oversight. Aside from that... works great... powers my zune, holds it up (which is SOOO much nicer than having to grab it and look at it when driving!!) and gives reasonably good FM quality sound. For the price, it's great. Just not 5 stars great. :D

Contrary to other posts about this product, the FlexTune does support the weight of the Zune 120. I was looking for something to hold my Zune while I drive, charge it at the same time, and play through the radio. In these capacities, it works well. I read another review about "wires everywhere" and I disagree. The two wires, one to charge and one to play, are short and stay out of the way of the device. Most of the time, it isn't even necessary to have the player plugged into the charger anyway.
Going over bumps does not affect sound quality and the device holds up the Zune too. I was most impressed that it came with spare parts (mount screw, fuse, lighter-plug parts).
Gripes:
The way I have it mounted, it is hard to see the orange/black screen on the FM transmitter which makes adjusting the frequency while driving difficult (and probably dangerous)
The device does seem fickle sometimes. That is, most days it works pretty well in terms of quality of sound transmission (for a transmitter-type player). However, once in awhile, it gets really "static-y" regardless of which frequency I choose.
The plastic on the device does vibrate and make noise. Because of the way I have it mounted, I was able to dampen this effect by placing a small piece of folded tissue paper between the device arm and my console.

This is the best item I could have ever wanted! All of my music is downloaded to my Zune, so it's only natural to want to take it with me everywhere. We purchased the car accessory, very easy to set up and use. I can listen to my downloaded music anywhere and everywhere without a problem. Thank you so much for this item, it's a dream come true.
Just coming home from work tonight, I had my music cranking and since my CD player wore out, I haven't had that luxury. The music sounds awesome, the empty radio station was easy enough to find, so I am as set as I can be. Best of all...no talk radio! After a tough day at work, I love the option of MY music, not something chosen for me by a station.

Very easy plug and play, fairly sturdy unit that delivers what you need. I dont think even zune products have anything close in a holder charger and tuner in one. What the hell are they waiting for ?
